Helping people MEET Jesus and GROW in faith

Grand Valley is a church that has always been focused on two things: Helping people to Meet Jesus, and helping people to take the next step by growing in their faith.

We're a church where you can belong and be known. Everyone is welcome.

Where we came from

Grand Valley Church started in 1989 when a group of families wanted to launch a church that was welcoming to everyone and talked about Jesus and faith in ways that anyone could understand, even if they had never been to a church before.

Where we're headed

What's the bottom line? Grand Valley Church is commited to creating a community that is built on hope, faith, and love. We want you to have hope for the future, faith that Jesus is always with you, and experience God's radical and limitless love.

What this means for you

What does this mean for you? You are always welcome at Grand Valley Church, we'll save you a seat. Wherever you're at in your spiritual journey, you'll be accepted and find a community where we care for each other and help each other take the next step forward.

Our Family of Churches

Grand Valley Church is part of a family of Churches known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. The C&MA is a growing evangelical denomination that began in the 1880's. We are a group of more than 430 local churches in Canada, and we engage in justice and compassion work in Canada and around the globe. We long to be a movement of churches that is Christ Centered, Spirit Empowered, and Mission Focused.

We deeply love Jesus and recognize the authority of the Bible in everything we do. Our thirst is to love God with everything we have — our hearts, souls and minds — and to love people as we love ourselves. To find out more about who we are,  you can check out our national website by going to

Our Partners

At Grand Valley we believe in being involved in both local and global partners and finding practical ways to make a difference in the world. We have three partnerships; one that's local in Brandon, one for our province, and a third that has an impact around the world.
